Have you ever dreamed of becoming a fashion blogger? This course will set you on the right path, as you will conceptualize and produce your very own professional-looking blog. You will also explore how fashion, social media, and blogging intersect, what career opportunities exist in this field, and how to brand yourself professionally online.
Course Syllabus
As a result of successfully completing this course, students...
Will be able to:
- Use blogs and social media for a variety of purposes including content distribution, networking, reporting and self-branding online
- Develop blog and social media content appropriate for a defined target and niche
- Source, cite and create imagery that complements blog posts
- Adapt content for the needs of different social media platforms
- Build a blog into a business
- Create and share vlogs
Will display the following attitudes/professional behaviors:
- Meet assigned deadlines
- Accept and apply critiques
- Analyze and discuss work using industry specific terminology
- Prepare for and contribute to class discussions and critiques
