Fashion Marketing & Entrepreneurship

This course covers growing importance of entrepreneurship and new business models in the fashion industry. Students discuss branding, marketing strategy and promotional techniques, and apply these skills to develop a new fashion business concept. Professional presentation techniques for marketing concepts are emphasized in the course project.

As a result of successfully completing this course, students...

Will be able to:

  • Research and analyze new business models within the fashion industry
  • Develop an entrepreneurial brand concept, via verbiage and visuals
  • Analyze consumer data and create target customer profiles
  • Develop marketing strategy for a new fashion concept
  • Use professional presentation techniques to create a marketing presentation

  • Analyze and discuss work using industry specific terminology
